Celebrate Melrose — Melrose Chamber of Commerce

On Saturday, June 11 (rain date of June 12), the Merchants’ Group of
the Melrose Chamber of Commerce will celebrate both Melrose and our city’s retail industry.  Participating retailers will offer shoppers a variety of festive activities, including special sales, in house demonstrations and  workshops, tastings, samples, food and entertainment.  In addition the Chamber of Commerce will add to the festivities by providing entertainment including a DJ and a clown on Main Street. Noonan’s Concessions of Wakefield will be on hand to sell slush and other street fare.

To encourage shoppers to shop locally, we are going to offer “passports”  to each shopper.  Every time a shopper visits a participating retailer, their passport will be stamped.  Shoppers with four or more stamps can submit their passport and be eligible for a drawing to win one of many prizes.

Passports will be available at the Chamber of Commerce office, One  West Foster Street, starting on June 6th, or at participating retailers on the day of the event. Among the stores donating prizes are: Morgan
Jewelers, Melrose YMCA, The Clothesvine, Hourglass Gift Gallery, Hunts Photo and Video, and Marathon Sports.
