Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, will be shown in the MVMMS theater on February 12, 2011. The film's producer Mihai Dinulscu will be available for an informal Q&A after the movie. 

Made on a small budget on16mm black and white film, Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench was named by ArtForum a “top 10 independent film” of 2009.  Director Damien Chazelle filmed the movie while an undergraduate film student at Harvard casting friends and area aspiring professional musicians and dancers.  A musical romance, the film stars jazz musician Jason Palmer, named one of the “Top 25 trumpeters of the future" (Downbeat Magazine).   A cinema verité film, it's a throw back to MGM musicals and inspired by French New Wave Cinema.  Filmed in Boston, one critic calls it a “love letter to Bean Town.”
