The Melrose Knights of Columbus is hosting its First Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, September 11th from 8AM - 11:30AM. All are welcome. Please join us at the KofC Hall (23 West Foster Street) and kick-off the Victorian Fair with some delicious pancakes, sausage, assorted pastries, coffee, juice and milk. Runners & Walkers:Stop by for some pre-race fuel or after to celebrate a job well done!
Tickets for the breakfast are $5 per person (children 4 and under free) and will be available at the door. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase throughout the morning. Proceeds to support the Knights of Columbus Christmas Food Drive for the Needy.
In support of our troops serving overseas and in honor of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the Knights will be collecting toiletry and sundry items on Sunday at the breakfast and throughout the Fair in a special collection box in the hall for shipment to soldiers from the Melrose Armory. (Hand sanitizer, Sunblock, Moisturizer, Chap stick, Handy-wipes, Insect repellant, Bounce Sheets, Roll-on Deodorant, Q-Tips, Disposable razors, Shaving cream, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Band-Aid’s etc). All items will be donated to “Helping Our Troops”, an organization dedicated to sending care packages to Massachusetts troops stationed overseas.
