Melrose Artist on Display! Melrose resident Philip Hermann will display his photography during the months of July and August in the library's main lobby.

Artist Statement...
My photographs have been influenced by my training in science and my experiences as a high school biology teacher. Trees and the meeting of land and sky are important features in many of my pictures. In spite of not having the greatest camera equipment I have taken pictures of some of the most beautiful places on earth. On all of my trips I carried my trusty Olympus OM-10 and lots of lenses.
