Update: Children Missing in Melrose Woods Found Safe

A brother and sister missing Saturday night in the Sewall Woods area in Melrose have been found safe.

Two children that went missing in Sewall Woods Saturday night in Melrose have been found safe, according to a Stoneham police dispatcher.

As of 10 a.m. Sunday, a message left with Melrose police seeking additional information about the search had not been returned.

Stoneham police are assisting Melrose police search for missing siblings in Sewall Woods Saturday night, according to a Twitter report.

Around 8 p.m., police were searching the Lynn Fells Parkway area at Sewall Woods for a missing brother and sister ages 7 and 9, according to a tweet by Twitter user @joebrownphotos.
