Escape: S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G

This one's for the ladies, menfolk.

As if the people over at the weren't awesome enough, they're now up to some new tricks over there on West Foster Street. And by "tricks," we mean "giving you a really, really good excuse to go shopping."

On Thursday, Oct.  27, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., the Chamber will throw open the doors of a generously participating Marty's Furniture and declare the first annual open for business.

There will be samples. There will be demonstrations. There will be networking. And there will be tables upon tables of items for sale by Melrose businesses that cater to women.

Oh, and will be there with food and a cash bar. For as every woman worth her shopping salt knows, a purchase is even more of a bargain if it comes with a nosh.
