Gas Prices Top $4 a Gallon in Brentwood

You'll have to shop around to pay less.

Oil prices topped $100 per barrel in international trading Wednesday and gas prices in Brentwood—at two of the four stations we surveyed—topped $4 a gallon for regular.

The two 76 stations on San Vicente Boulevard, one at Bundy adjacent to and the other at the had the eye-popping tariffs. 

The area Chevron stations—one in Brentwood Village at Sunset and Barrington and the other at —offered cheaper prices.

The average price of regular in Los Angeles County has reached $3.60/gallon which is up a dime from a week ago and 66 cents higher than a year ago.

It's a little out of the way, but if you're ever in the Canoga Park area of the San Fernando Valley, fill up your tank! This city has the cheapest rates I've seen so far.
