Longtime Malden dentist Dr. John Horne recently retired, according to the city.
Horne had a practice on Clifton Street in Malden. He served Malden residents for more than 45 years.
Horne has been a member of the Malden Chamber of Commerce since 1968 and has served on the Board of Health since 1981.

Malden Mayor Gary Christenson, City Council President Neal Anderson and Chamber of Commerce Director Jenna Coccimiglio presented Horne with a congratulatory citation upon his retirement.
