5 Things: Melrose High Loses to Burlington in Boys' Hockey Tournament

1. Playoff hockey: The Melrose High School boys' hockey team's season came to a close on Thursday night in the semifinal round of the North Division 1 boys hockey playoffs, as Burlington won 3-0 at Chelmsford Forum.

2. Snowy day: Snow is expected to fall before 3 p.m. Thursday, with temperatures peaking at about 38 during the day and dipping to a low of around 28 in the evening, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Melrose.

3. Food pantry: The Servant's Heart Food Pantry is expected to be open from 10-11:30 a.m. Friday at the Faith Evangelical Church, 200 Franklin St. The food pantry helps more than 200 families in the Melrose region by providing emergency food to people in need.

4. In case you missed it: The Oak Grove bike cage project is expected to be completed and open to the public this spring, according to the MBTA.
