A Non-Profit Expands, Fourth of July Photos and Melrose Home Sales

A look back at Melrose's top stories of the week.

The FA Project, a Melrose-based non-profit that supports those living with the debilitating disease Freidreich’s Ataxia, with Boston’s Best Cruises to raise funds for the cause. The company has pledged to donate a portion of itsHarbor Cruise and Sunset Cruise ticket sales to the organization.

Police

A janitor reported that the overnight, Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau said. There were some desks pushed over and papers thrown about, but no permanent damage done to anything inside the school, DeCroteau said. Nothing immediately appeared to be missing.
