Be a Straight Shooter

Learn to take photos the proper way―finally.

Let us guess: You take a lot of photos of your kids. Many, many photos. But how, well, good are they? Are you tired of your photos not looking like the ones you see on your favorite blogs, or even those you see on your friends' Flickr photostreams?

If so, and if you own a SLR camera, grab your calendar and put a big red circle around March 22 and 29. On those Wednesdays, from 6 - 8pm, in Melrose is offering its popular two-week Basic Photography workshop. Finally, you can learn how to set and adjust aperture! Tackle the details of ISO! Find a comfort level with shutter speed! All for $75!

The March 8 and 15 workshops are already sold out, so call Hunt's soon to reserve a space in the 14-person-maximum workshop on the 22nd and 29th: 781-662-8822.

P.S. More a point-and-click sort of photographer? Fear not. Hunt's promises to schedule a beginner's workshop for point-and-click camera owners soon.
