Beebe Estate to Host Irish Concert

A look at what is happening in Melrose on Friday, March 22.

Here are five things to know for Friday, March 22:

1. Some sprinkles: Friday is expected to be partly sunny, with daytime highs in the low 40s before becoming partly cloudy and dipping into the upper 20s at night, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Melrose. Scattered sprinkles are expected sometime between 3-9 p.m., according to the forecast.

2. Library activities: Here are some of the activities planned for Thursday at Melrose Public Library, according to the library website:

  • Toddler Time drop-in program, 10:30-11 a.m., Meeting Room
  • Junior Troop meeting, 2:30-4:30 p.m., Meeting Room

3. Irish concert: There will be an Irish Traditional Music Concert from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Friday at the Beebe Estate. Tickets cost $20.

4. Food pantry: The Servant's Heart Food Pantry will be open from 10-11:30 a.m. Friday at the Faith Evangelical Church, 200 Franklin St. The food pantry helps more than 200 families in the Melrose region by providing emergency food to people in need.
