A look back at Melrose's top stories of the week.

Our top stories of the week ...

A day after a led to an evacuation of Melrose High School, led to another search of the school—although no evacuation—and again, nothing was found.

On another note, Melrose Patch brought you a story about a after a spinal cord injury. Ryan DeRoche's family and the Melrose community are uniting to organize a fundraiser in support of DeRoche's rally to regain his motor functions.

  arrived before the School Committee this past Tuesday night, when the committee unanimously approved a plan that enumerates nine objectives, with none completed any later than January 2012.
