Citywide Night Out Scheduled For Aug. 5

Crafts and games for kids, information at public safety and free slush at free community event.

The Melrose Night Out at Pine Banks Park has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 5 from 6-8 p.m, held by Mayor Rob Dolan and the Melrose Recreation Department.

The event will feature information about public safety, crafts and activities for children and free slush for all.

The city first celebrated the event, in conjunction with the National Night Out event, in 2007 and last year expanded to hold also Neighborhood Nights Out, like the events held at Foss Park and at Gooch Park earlier this month.
