Five Things: Sunny Skies, Holiday Guide and More

Check out the Five Things column for Monday, Dec. 3.

Here are five things to know for Monday, Dec. 3: 

1.  Sunny times: Temperatures are expected to reach a high of about 54 during the day Monday, before dropping to a low of near 36, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Melrose. Partly sunny skies are in the forecast during the day and will be mostly clear in the evening.

2. Meeting time: The Melrose Board of Aldermen is slated to meet at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Aldermanic Chamber of City Hall, according to the city website. Check out the meeting's agenda here.

4. Free Park Pass: Melrose residents may borrow a 2012 Massachusetts Park Pass free of charge from the Recreation Department. The pass entitles the bearer to free parking for one vehicle (excluding buses or vans) at over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts state parks system that charge a day-use parking fee.
