Fourth of July At The Common: Video and Photos
Sights and sounds from the Melrose Recreation Department's annual Independence Day festivities.
Sunday at Melrose Common, the Melrose Recreation Department held the annual Fourth of July bike and carriage parade, followed by activites and games for families. The parade winners in the bike category were: Alice English, First Place; Lydia Phillips, Second Place; and Emilia Rahilly, Kate Sikkema and Zoe Blumenthal, Third Place. Winners in the wagon and carriage category were: Matthew Donovan, First Place; Camille Wahl, Second Place; and Bella Fay, Noah Fay and Deanna Main, Third Place. Winners in the scooter category were: Anna Danieski, First Place; Ella Boretti, Second Place; and Jack Doherty and Connor Doherty, Third Place.
