Family-friendly discounts around town this week.

Deal: Who likes free? You like free! And so: This month and next, Main Street's Salon 786 is throwing in a 20-minute dry-scrub exfoliating session when you purchase an 80-minute massage. Stone Zoo

Deal: Did the shortest individuals in your family turn out to be early-morning people, no matter how much you discouraged the habit? Might as well roll with it―and perhaps roll over to Stone Zoo, where from 10 a.m. to noon on the first Saturday of the month small and tall people pay the $7 child admission rate.

State Park Library Pass

Deal: Parents in the know are already aware that godsend = the museum passes available from the Melrose Public Library. Given that the weather is on an upswing and the library allows pass reservations up to a month before your chosen date, you need to get your hands on the Massachusetts Park pass―ASAP. The pass guarantees free parking at many amazing regional parks, including Walden Pond, Bradley Palmer State Park and nearby Nahant Beach.

Lendy's New York Style Deli

Deal: If you're like many Melrosians, you spend far too much of your life on neighboring Route 1. Sigh. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. In this spirit, swing by Lendy's New York Style Deli, in the Marshall's-Panera plaza on Route 1 South. Order the daily special on Monday through Friday and get your wee ones a free kid's meal in return. (Coupon online.)
