Freecycle Tuesdays: Five Free Deals in Melrose [Aug. 16]

The Freecycle philosophy is simple: Offer something to others that you no longer need; take something off of someone's hands—all for free. It's like a yard sale fell in love with recycling, got married and had a baby named Freecycle.

The Freecycle Melrose group is one of the most active in the area, offering tons of great deals. Click here for more information on the group, or to find out how to obtain any of these great items. 

Here is just a sampling of some of the deals we found offered this week. Note: Offers change all the time or are taken quickly.

1) Bag of size 6 girl's clothes: The bag is mostly 6/6X (there may be a 7 or 8 mixed in) jeans and tops. Offered by "therese.perkins."

2) Bag of stuffed animals: Huge contractor bag of all different types of stuffed animals. Offered by "jill_leblanc."

3) Rhododendrons: Three mature rhododendron plants. Need to be dug up and a truck likely needed to transport them. Offered by "amydov23."

4) Placemats, candles and baskets: Two green placemats, never used; two white pillar candles, never used; two small cream wire baskets, like new. Offered by "kelly_caruso."

5) Trivial Pursuit: 20th Anniversary Edition. Offered by "alisondblanchard."
