Freecycle Tuesdays: Five Free Deals in Melrose [Aug. 23]

The Freecycle philosophy is simple: Offer something to others that you no longer need; take something off of someone's hands—all for free. It's like a yard sale fell in love with recycling, got married and had a baby named Freecycle.

Here is just a sampling of some of the deals we found offered this week. Note: Offers change all the time or are taken quickly.

1) Kids' board games: Must pick up before Wednesday morning—identify which items you'd like. Available: Monopoly Jr.; Cranium Hullabaloo (may be broken, may just need batteries—have not
investigated); Clue Jr.; Yahtzee Jr. Disney Edition; Finding Nemo game; Tell-A-Story memory/storytelling game; I Spy Memory Game; Scrabble Jr. Offered by "betseyb71."

2) Four-blade photo developing easel: 14x17, used, in good shape and cover for bessler enlarger. Offered by "sromes1."

3) Antique chair: 40 1/2" tall, the seat is 30 1/2" from the floor. The chair is wooden painted yellow/cream. The seat is about bar/counter height. Offered by "cahchesley."

4) Baby food freezer trays and containers: For freezing homemade baby food. Three trays with tiny containers. Offered by "freecyclewakefield."

5) Ceiling fan: White ceiling fan with four sconce lights. Offered by "dzabroski."
