Hot Off the T: 5 Things To Do in Boston This Weekend

An Italian feast; Tom Stoppard play; Beacon Hill photo tour and more stuff to do right off the Orange Line.

(All events are in walking distance from Orange Line stops on the MBTA.)

  1. Saint Anthony's Feast: It's the 92nd year of the North End's "feast of feasts," and the weather should be zeppoli-friendly most of Saturday.
Take the Orange Line to Haymarket Station and walk three minutes to Hanover Street.

  2. Tom Stoppard's Arcadia: Catch the unorthodox, critically-acclaimed play 8 p.m. Saturday at the Boston Center for the Arts.
Take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and walk nine minutes to Boston Center for the Arts.

  3. Beacon Hill Photo Tour: Spend some time outside starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. You'll learn how to take better photos while capturing images in one of Boston's prettiest neighborhoods. The group meets in front of the Shaw memorial across from the State House.
Take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing Station and walk six minutes to the Shaw Memorial at Beacon and Cross streets.

  4. Arts and crafts at the Frog Pond: Pack up the rugrats and head over to the Frog Pond for arts and crafts at 11 a.m., followed by a dip in the wading pool or hijinks at the playground.
Take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing Station and then walk six minutes to the Boston Common Frog Pond.

  5. Love Song: Looking for a heart-warming? Orfeo Group presents Love Song Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Charlestown Working Theater.
Take the Orange Line to Sullivan Station and then walk 13 minutes to the Charlestown Working Theater.
