  • MEDFORD - Former President Bill Clinton will speak at Tufts University in November, the school has announced. Clinton will deliver the Issam M. Fares Lecture on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 4:00 P.M. in the Gantcher Family Sports Center, according to a university press release.
  • : WAKEFIELD—Police have identified Charles Northrup, 42, of Wakefield, as the victim of a in Woburn on Tuesday night. Northrup, according to police reports, was stabbed five times in the neck, stomach and back. He is listed in serious condition at the Lahey Clinic.
  • : READING— Just in time for the tenth anniversary of Sept. 11, a Reading firefighter has organized the installation of two granite slants and a series of benches at Reading Memorial High School. One of the granite monuments will honor Kevin McCarthy, a Reading native who died in the events. The other will honor all who died in the attack. The memorial will be officially unveiled Sunday.
