Poll Results: High School Should Have HVAC System Repaired First
That's what the majority of people who voted in last week's poll said.
Last Thursday, Melrose Patch asked you , given that a committee has begun meeting to discuss the various projects that the city could undertake to update the school.
Between then and Tuesday morning, 39 people voted in the poll.

- 23 people (58 percent) said that repairing the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system should be the city's priority.
- 11 people (28 percent) said it should be the technology center.
- And five people (12 percent) voted for the science labs.
- No one chose as the top priority the foreign language lab.
shed some light on why the HVAC system might have received the most votes. "When I was there I remember the first floor always being freezing cold in the winter, especially near the door near the tunnel," he wrote in the comments section. "The gym wing of the building isn't air conditioned at all and is a sauna in the summer. I also remember a story a few years ago about how the city pays boatloads for the electric heating."
