Three Things To Do This Weekend

Looking for something to do in Melrose this weekend? Here are three events taking place around the city on Saturday and Sunday:

• The New England Dancesport Classic ballroom dancing competition will be taking place all day at Memorial Hall on Saturday. See the competition's website for a schedule of morning and afternoon competitions; Gala Evening doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for competitions during the day and $30 for the evening gala and may be purchased at the door the same day.
• Boogie woogie piano man Preacher Jack will be performing at Absolutely Fabulous on Saturday night. Check out our video and article from Jack's last visit to Ab Fab.
• A Traditional Irish music session with Frank Gibbons, Lisa Coyne and friends will take place at Harrington's Pub in Wakefield on Sunday, 6 p.m to 9 p.m.
