Video: Melrose Dog Festival

The 3rd annual Melrose Dog Festival gave dog lovers and their pets a fun way to support a good cause.

Animal lovers flipped for the 3rd annual Dog Festival in Melrose on Saturday. The Melrose Humane Society teamed up with local volunteers to turn Lewis Monk Field into an obstacle course for the festival's dog show. The furry contestants jumped, climbed, and crawled their way to the top, but the dogs didn't get to have all the fun. Booths lined the field, providing helpful information on pet ownership and selling goodies both man and his 'best friend' could enjoy. The event also featured games and raffles, all to benefit the Humane Society.
