Where's the Cheapest Gas in Melrose? [June 24]

The following information comes from AAA Southern New England:
For the sixth week in a row, gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down from the previous week, this time by an average of three cents per gallon, according to AAA Southern New England. Prices have fallen 26 cents over that six-week period.
AAA's June 20 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.689 per gallon, down three cents from a week ago. The current price is four cents above the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.64. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $2.72.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 46 cents, from a low of $3.53 to a high of $3.99. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up—every time.
