Wind Gusts Up to 50 Miles Per Hour Expected Monday Night Into Tuesday Morning

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory on Monday.

That bluster you hear isn't hot air from meterologists predicting more snow, but oncoming strong overnight winds that could knock down tree limbs and cause isolated power outages.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a wind advisory on Monday morning for most of Massachusetts, which will be in effect from 7 p.m. this evening until 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Northwest winds of 15-30 miles per hour will have gusts up to 45 and 50 miles per hour, the NWS said, with the strongest winds expected to occur between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.
