Community Corner

Bread of Life 21st Annual Walk for Bread & 5K Fun Run

Get fit while doing good. Join runners and walkers in this fun event to benefit local non-profit Bread of Life, which distributed approximately 930,000 meals last year to families in need in Malden, Melrose, Everett, Medford, Wakefield, Stoneham, Winchester, Saugus, Reading and North Reading.

Whether you consider yourself a runner, a walker, or a casual stroller, Bread of Life needs your energy and enthusiasm to help raise funds and awareness about Bread of Life and its mission to eradicate hunger in our communities.

Teens: get credit for 3 - 5 hours of community service by registering to run, registering to walk and collecting pledges, or helping with final clean-up on Walk/Run day.

T-shirts will be available for walkers with at least a $15 total contribution.
