Democratic Caucus to Select Convention Delegates

Democrats in Melrose will hold a caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2014 nominating convention on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Roosevelt Elementary School, 253 Vinton St, Melrose. Registration will open  at 9:30am and the caucus will begin at 10:00am.

"2014 is a BIG election year for Massachusetts,” commented Mario Portillo, Chair of the  Melrose Democratic City Committee. “The results will have a direct impact right here in  our own community. I encourage all Melrose Democrats to join us at the caucus." 

All are invited to attend. However, only those who are registered Melrose Democrats as  of January 31st, 2014 are permitted to vote and/or run to be a delegate. Delegates to  the 2014 Massachusetts Democratic Party nominating convention will select candidates  to compete for the Democratic nomination for statewide offices.
