Based on the youth's age as of Jan. 1, participants will compete against others of the same age and gender. All participants will be recognized with a certificate. Competitors will take 15 free throws and the boy and girl from each age group who makes the most will receive an award as Melrose champion. The champs will advance to the regional championship in Reading on March 23 with the opportunity to compete for the state championship April 6 at Holy Cross.
