Home for the Holidays

Please join us on the weekend of December 6th and

7th for Home for the Holidays hosted by the City of Melrose and the

Melrose Chamber of Commerce and Sponsored by Hallmark Health System.

Join us for a weekend of holiday celebrations all around the

city of Melrose.  On Friday, December 6th, the celebration

kicks off with the lighting of the tree on City Hall lawn and the holiday

lights on Main Street by Mayor Dolan.  Santa, escorted by the Melrose Fire

Department, arrives in Melrose and holds court at Edward Jones, 502 Main

Street.  Santa’s safe arrival is made possible by Marie T. Wood Realty.

And, Friday night is not just for our youngest citizens; adults are invited to

stroll Main Street, enjoying outdoor entertainment, ice sculpting and the warmth

and hospitality of our Main Street shops and restaurants.  All day on

Saturday, trolleys will take shoppers to the various festivities in the city,

including Main Street, Cedar Park, Franklin Street/Melrose Highlands, Franklin

Square, West Wyoming, and Windsor at Oak Grove/Pine Banks area. 

Saturday's events include church fairs, Hayrides with Santa, indoor mini golf,

a petting zoo, and lots of food!
