                         6 Week Courses

              Wednesdays, 5:15pm-6:15pm

                    Program Description:

   Social Skills Development for teens and preteens in both High School and Middle School who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. 

During each group session, teens / preteens are taught important social skills with a new curriculum and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session during socialization activities. 

Psychoeducation Group sessions are facilitated by an experienced Licensed Clinician who specializes in Child / Adolescent / Family Treatment. The group size will be approximately 6-8 children.


Your Teen / Preteen Will Learn :  ¨How to use appropriate conversational skills * How to become more organized  *   How to make phone calls to friends  *  How to appropriately use humor  ¨How to choose appropriate friends *How to handle disagreements  *  How to be a good sport * How to handle rejection & bullying  * How to handle rumors and gossip *How to find common interests by trading info *How to handle changes in routines

Parents must schedule and complete a pre-assessment intake session PRIOR to their child being enrolled in the program.

 The cost for the (6) Week Psychoeducation Program is $200.00 and must be paid in full prior to the first group session. 

The program cost ($200) will be self-pay and i insurance plans do not cover this program. 

Enrollment is limited.

The  programs may be appropriate for preteens / teens (ages 12 through 17) with:

¨ ADHD / ADD ¨ Asperger’s Syndrome ¨      Depression ¨¨ Anxiety ¨ Non-Verbal Learning  Disabilities ¨ Other social & behavioral  problems ¨ P. D. D; O.D.D.;O.C.D.

Parents can attend separate sessions at the same time and are taught how to assist their teens / preteens in making and keeping friends by helping to expand their child’s social network and providing feedback through coaching during weekly socialization homework assignments. 

 Parenting Group facilitated by Linda Croke DiPietro, LICSW.   Fee for Parenting Group is $ 135.00 per parenting couple.  Please call# 781-665-0998  to participate in Parenting Group.
