19th Annual Walk for Bread & 5K Run

A benefit for Bread of Life, a local nonprofit that provides free meals, grocery delivery to senior citizens, food delivery to homeless families sheltered in local motels, and food pantries for residents of Malden, Everett, Medford, Melrose, and surrounding towns. This year’s walk and run (5K or 3.1 miles) will go around scenic Pine Banks Park. It will include family fun, live music, refreshments and T-shirts. Bring your kids, bring the dog, come enjoy the day!

Registration is at 12:00 pm at the tot lot/pond/pavilion area inside the wooded area of Pine Banks. The Walk/Run will start at 1pm. Parking is available entering from Sylvan Street or Main Street. Fill out a Walk Pledge Sheet and mail it in, or return it with funds raised, on the day of the Walk/Run.
