State Representative Katherine Clark (D-Melrose) is pleased to announce the second consecutive year of her partnership with the non-profit organization Cradles to Crayons (C2C). Rep. Clark and C2C will join forces to host a community wide collection drive dedicated to helping low-income and homeless children. Last year's event brought in hundreds of donations and was a wonderful community service opportunity.
There will be many volunteer opportunities available for all ages. Volunteer tasks range from sorting clothing and inspecting the quality of items, to creating cards and decorations for the C2C children. C2C is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing low-income and homeless children the basic essentials they need to be safe, warm, ready to learn and valued.
