Party in the Garden

The Melrose Democratic City Committee to Sponsor a “Party in the Garden” to benefit U.S. Senate Candidate Elizabeth Warren

Melrose This year, the Melrose Democratic City Committee (“MDCC”) is proud to sponsor a Barbeque Party to benefit U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren.  This event is open to the public and for those who are interested in learning more about Elizabeth Warren and her candidacy for the U.S. Senate in this November’s Election.
This year the “Party in the Garden” will be held in the lovely gardens of Mike and Sandy Festa at 127 Boston Rock Road on Sunday, August 5th from 5-8pm.  (Rain date of August 12th).  There is a suggested donation of $20 per adult and $10 for children.  Children 5 and under are free.  There will plenty of delicious food, beverages and good conversation for all.  This is a great way to meet new people, discuss important issues and make new friends.
“Each year, the MDCC holds an annual outdoor event to support local candidates and causes.  This year, because both Rep. Paul Brodeur and Sen. Katherine Clark don’t have opponents we decided to focus our efforts and resources on Elizabeth Warren’s campaign,” said Chairwoman Jean Gorman.  “All of the items have been graciously donated by members of the committee and every dollar raised will go directly to Elizabeth Warren’s campaign.  There is no doubt that this race will be competitive, especially here in Melrose.  This event will be one of our many efforts to ensure her campaign is a success come November,” said Gorman
