Help a Father and Son Team from Melrose Mail Toys 'AUcross' America
Each Thursday during the holiday season, we'll be featuring a GoFundMe campaign in the Melrose area.
A father and son team from Melrose recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to cover shipping costs to send toys to autistic children as part of their Toys "AUcross" America drive.
Michael Miller and his son are looking to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of mailing toys nationwide to children on the Autism Spectrum, according to the campaign. As of Thursday morning, they had raised more than $2,600.
"We use funding to cover the shipping costs and to occasionally purchase toys. We are mailing trains, planes and automobiles, but we are secretly mailing SMILES!" reads the campaign page.
