Melrose Businesses Celebrate World Series Win on Social Media

Since the Boston Red Sox claimed their third World Series title in a decade following Wednesday night's 6-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6, Melrose businesses and organizations have taken to social media to celebrate the team's achievements.

Turner's Seafood Grill & Market wrote "Congratulations, World Series Champions Boston Red Sox!!!"
 
The Barber's Den posted a status Halloween-related post, with a photo of a bench in front of the barber shop with a Boston Red Sox pennant hanging below it. "Happy Halloween!! Careful on Main st. today, kids take over from 3-5pm to collect their candy," reads the status.
 
Melrose Animal Clinic wrote "Gotta Love It!!!" and "Congrats to the WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!! The Boston Red Sox" following Boston's 6-1 Game 6 victory to clinch the World Series title.

Melrose Alliance Against Violence posted "Congratulations to the World Champion Boston Red Sox! Thank you for inspiring all of us to FIND A WAY!"

In a status featuring a photo of a green Red Sox hat, Madison Ave of Melrose posted this: "#BOSTONSTRONG."

Superior Image Barbershop posed an interesting question following Boston's World Series-clinching victory.

"Well now that the Sox won their third World Series in 10 years....do you keep your playoff beards for Movember or come down to the shop and shave them today? Decisions decisions. Open until 7," wrote the barber shop.
