To Help Local Food Pantries, Gathering Change, Inc. Teams up with the Feinstein Foundation

Gathering Change, Inc. encourages communities to collect change for their local food pantries. During March & April, any donation is worth more with the support of the Feinstein Foundation.

Gathering Change, Inc., the local nonprofit that raises money and gives it back to food pantries in the towns where it is collected, is taking part in Alan Shawn Feinstein’s 2013 $1 Million Giveaway to Fight Hunger

For 16 consecutive years, Mr. Feinstein has supported hunger fighting charitable organizations nationwide.  The Feinstein Foundation will add to whatever money these organizations raise from March 1st to April 30th.  Gathering Change, Inc has participated in this challenge since its inception in 2008.

Only donations or pledges received from March 1st to April 30th will be counted for the Feinstein challenge.  These donations include monetary as well as in-kind charitable gifts, such as food items or pledges, as long as they are obtained during this time period. .
