MassBike Launches National Bike Challenge in Massachusetts

Melrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee invites you to participate in National Bike Challenge

The Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition (MassBike) is pleased to announce the start of the National Bike Challenge, an initiative sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists and the Kimberly-Clark Corporation, which encourages more people to ride bicycles for transportation or recreation.  Following the momentum of the MassCommute Bicycle Challenge during Bay State Bike Week, this friendly nation-wide competition runs through the end of September.

Participants can sign up to represent their state, local community, company or school, and a team within a company. Individuals receive points based on their tracked mileage. There are a number of prizes available to win for those who consistently track rides lasting more than one mile each day. The more you bike, the better your chance of winning (and the better the prizes) will be!
