2. LOLz for a cause: Malden comedian Dave Russo will be the main act at for the Melrose High School's soccer team.

3. Common Ground: The from 7-10 p.m. at the Melrose YMCA. Kids in grades 6-9 are welcome, no admittance after 9 p.m, $3 fee for entry.

4. Card lessons: Want to play cards with your friends but don't know how? The Malden  is offering  classes at 10 a.m. Friday.
