Mystic Valley Softball Wins on Senior Night
Tuesday night, in front of a great crowd of family, friends and faculty at Eastern Avenue, the Mystic Valley Girls Softball team won their 8th game in the last nine games with a 12 – 0 shutout victory over the visiting Panthers from PMA.

The game demonstrated the effective formula that the girls have used to win all season; Effective pitching, solid defense and timely hitting. The infield defense was anchored by the four senior members of the team, Rachel Tortora at third, Michelle Doherty at shortstop, Violet Sullivan at second and Jordan Sullivan at first. “These four have been a integral part of the Lady Eagles run to the playoffs and have been part of teams that have made the playoffs their entire high school career. They have established an expectation of what it means to play for the Mystic Valley Girls Softball team and as coaches, we could not be prouder of their accomplishments.” Said coach Scot Barry.
