Just Sit Right Back And You'll Hear a Tale, a Tale of a Fateful Trip

A little over a week ago, I was lucky enough to visit Cape Ann ( Rockport MA ) and had a great time walking around the small town.

I had never been there and to be honest, I don't know if I'll be going back anytime soon at this point. It should have been a pretty straight shot to get there, but after trying to get the commuter rail in Boston to Rockport, it turns out that a bridge on the line was being repaired. We had to hop on a bus to Lynn MA and then switch over to the Rockport train.

It was the bus ride from hell. I won't go into further detail, but it wasn't a fun trip.

Once we got there it was fun and we walked around for most of the day, but instead of staying into the night, it was decided to get back into Boston early and go from there. I'm pretty sure visiting Rockport and trying to get around by foot was my downfall. Rockport should be experienced by car and seen that I don't own a car, it was a bad decision.

I did get some wonderful shots and I'm very happy with them.

Unfortunately, a couple of days later a mother and her two daughters were playing at one of the beaches in Rockport. The mother went to go a fetch a ball they were playing with and when she turned around, her three year old daughter was gone.

I pray that they find her body, so that the family can find closure.
