Budget Woes - Democrats versus Democrats

It's kind of interesting sitting back and watching the Democratic leadership in the state legislature wrangle over budget issues with our Democratic Governor Patrick! I guess even left wing liberal Democrats have a limit as to how high a tax level the public will tolerate before taking it out on them in the voting booth! Of course our Governor need not worry about this since he is in a "lame duck" situation and is just waiting for his plum federal appointment from Obama. Also, like his friend Obama, he likes the title but hates to do the actual work the position requires! While Obama goes off on his golfing and vacation trips.....our Governor goes off to his retreat in the Berkshires and elsewhere.......avoiding the real hard work on Beacon Hill! As the saying goes...."you get the government you elect"!
