How can you tell when someone is a pathological liar? When he says that “Raising the Debt Ceiling...Does Not Increase Our Debt!”

Obama gave a speech recently at the Business Roundtable headquarters in Washington, D.C., and dismissed concerns about raising the debt ceiling by saying that this has been done so many times in the past.

Here is his quote: "Now, this debt ceiling -- I just want to remind people in case you haven't been keeping up -- raising the debt ceiling, which has been done over a hundred times, does not increase our debt; it does not somehow promote profligacy.  All it does is it says you got to pay the bills that you've already racked up, Congress.  It's a basic function of making sure that the full faith and credit of the United States is preserved."

Well….that’s funny…….his remarks don’t seem to jive with reality……since every time we raise the debt ceiling, it eventually hits the upper limit and then we need to raise it again! Doesn’t one plus one equal 2 in Obama’s world? Oh….that’s right…he lives in an alternate universe where common sense, everyday intelligence, and the obvious are absent!  And to think that there are some people out there that think he is not a pathological liar?
