Obituary for Timothy Moynihan, Former Owner of Breads 'n Bits of Ireland

Timothy C. Moynihan, 69, of Melrose, died at his home on Jan. 5, 2014.

Timothy C. Moynihan, 69, of Melrose, died at his home on Jan. 5, 2014, according to an obituary on the Gately Funeral Home website.

Moynihan, an Ireland native, was born on Dec. 9, 1944. He previously lived in North Cambridge and Somerville.

Moynihan worked at The Architectural Collaborative in Cambridge for 25 years before eventually opening Breads 'n Bits of Ireland with his wife Mary Anne in downtown Melrose. The couple ran the business for 23 years.

Visiting hours are set for 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose. 

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 at St. Mary's Church, Herbert Street in Melrose.
