Christmas Decorations Stolen From Melrose Resident's Home

At 11:36 a.m. Dec. 10, Melrose Police responded to Maple Road for a report of a larceny. The caller reported that Christmas decorations had been stolen off their front porch.

Dec. 13

1:10 p.m.: Swains Pond Avenue at Dexter Road, police conducted an area check. Off duty officer located what appeared to be tire tracks ending next to an hole in the ice at Swains Pond. Police notified units to respond and called Melrose Fire. Fire then informed us that they had been training in same area which included them cutting into the ice. Firefighters responded and confirmed for police that that was where the training had taken place earlier in the day.

6:08 p.m.: Lebanon Street, report of an accident.

Dec. 12

5:17 p.m.: Lynn Fells Parkway, report of an accident. State Police and Stoneham Police notified. 

Dec. 11

8:33 a.m.: Green Street, report of a minor motor vehicle accident.

6:45 p.m.: Ferdinand Street, caller reported that someone broken into her home.

9:21 p.m.: West Wyoming Avenue, caller reported that a dog was hit by a car in the area.

Dec. 10

11:12 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report a larceny at Franklin Manor condominiums on Green Street.

3:01 p.m.: Bay State Road, caller reported that they struck a parked vehicle and needed assistance finding the owner.
