Everett Woman Accused of Drunk Driving in Melrose
At 1:04 a.m. Nov. 24, Melrose Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Tremont Street for motor vehicle violations. Susan Aversa, of 66 Englewood Ave., Everett, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor, speeding in violation of a special regulation, marked lanes violation and failing to wear a seat belt.
Nov. 24
11:16 a.m.: Banks Place, report of a hit-and-run accident.
8:15 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report a cell phone was stolen at the Melrose YMCA on Main Street.
Nov. 23
9:58 a.m.: A Bartlett Street resident visited the police station to report a larceny.
11:28 a.m.: Nason Drive near Melrose Highlands train depot, report of a past hit-and-run accident.
5:17 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report a larceny at the Melrose YMCA on Main Street.
Nov. 22
1:53 p.m.: Dennis Kozdra turned himself in at the police station on an arrest warrant.
4:38 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report credit card fraud.
Nov. 21
10:11 a.m.: Grove Street, report of possible past breaking and entering and larceny.
1:47 p.m.: Carlida Road, report of a disturbance. The caller reported that there was a fight in progress. The disturbance was between contractors.
3:17 p.m.: A Clifford Street man visited the police station to report a fraudulent transaction.
3:25 p.m.: Franklin Street near Domino's Pizza, report of a minor motor vehicle accident.
5:23 p.m.: Lebanon Street, report of an accident. Parties exchanged insurance paperwork.
6:49 p.m.: Washington Street, report of a fire in the woods.
7:07 p.m.: Pink Melon at Main Street, report of a hypodermic needle found in a bathroom.
