Malden Man Accused of Disorderly Conduct in Melrose

At 10:51 p.m. Sept. 25, Melrose Police responded to Main Street near the Main Street Mobil after receiving a 911 call with a man allegedly ranting on the phone. Brian Coleman, of 21 Clinton St., Malden, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Sept. 23

1:13 p.m.: East Wyoming Avenue, report of annoying phone calls.

1:20 p.m.: Main Street at Crystal Street, report of a fox running around in the street. The animal control officer was notified.

7:39 p.m.: Whitman Avenue, report of a past breaking and entering. The homeowner reported his home was broken into.

8:15 p.m.: Myrtle Street resident visited the police station to report a larceny.

Sept. 24

2:42 p.m.: Melrose High School on Lynn Fells Parkway, report of a bomb scare. A bomb threat was reportedly found written on bathroom stall.

Sept. 25

5:04 p.m.: Lebanon Street, report of a breaking and entering. A woman returned home and found that it had been broken into.

5:56 p.m.: Lebanon Street, report of an hypodermic needle found on the ground. The needle was recovered and disposed of properly.
