Malden Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges in Melrose
At 11:24 a.m. Dec. 3, Melrose Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main and Upham Streets. Lisa Laurenza, of 41 Tremont St. Apt. #2, Malden, was arrested and charged with a number plate violation to conceal ID, having an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. She was also arrested on two warrants. The vehicle was towed.
Dec. 3
11:40 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report that their rental vehicle was stolen while at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
4:58 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report a larceny on Lynde Street.
11:04 p.m.: Bancroft Road at Woodcrest Drive, report of suspicious activity. The caller reported that a man was wearing all black clothing and carrying a flashlight while on the lawn of a Bancroft Road home. Andrew Rigano, of 43 East Wyoming Ave., Melrose, was arrested and charged with being in possession of a burglarious instrument and receiving stolen property over $250.
Dec. 2
9:41 a.m.: Main Street at Lynn Fells Parkway, report of an accident. No tows reported.
11:26 a.m.: Vinton Street, caller reported that their property had been vandalized.
2:26 p.m.: Upham Street, report of an accident. Drivers taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, and two vehicles towed.
7:32 p.m.: Main Street near Melrose Mobil Station, report of a minor accident.
Dec. 1
8:24 a.m.: Laurel and Sixth Streets area, report of a decapitated rabbit. Animal covered with traffic cone, and animal control officer notified.
4:54 p.m.: West Wyoming Avenue, report of a hit-and-run accident. The caller reported that he was stopped when another vehicle rear-ended his and fled the scene.
5:29 p.m. West Wyoming Avenue and Main Street, reports of a motor vehicle accident.
