Man Arrested After Bellevue Ave. Burglary

Saugus resident Kevin Mandolese, 33, was arrested after a resident reported seeing him leaving her property after an alleged break-in.

A Saugus man was arrested last Monday after a Bellevue Ave. resident said she saw him leaving her home after an apparent break-in.

Police arrested Kevin Mandolese, 33, on two charges of breaking and entering, class C drug possession and receiving stolen property over $250, after discovering him in the nearby Wakefield Melrose Memorial Hospital.

Lt. Mark DeCroteau said the department continued to investigate other break-ins in the Bellevue Ave. area.

Mandolese was arrested in Malden on charges of attempt to commit a crime, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and possession of a bulgarious instrument in 2011, though the status of those charges were not immediately available Tuesday.
