Melrose Man Allegedly Found in Possession of a Stun Gun, Drugs and Liquor

At 1:48 a.m. Aug. 12, Melrose police responded to the Papa Gino's property on Main Street for a report of a disturbance, according to a police log. The caller claimed that a younger couple was arguing, according to the log. Thomas Burke, 18, of 56 Green St., Melrose, was arrested and charged with possession of an electric stun gun, possession with the intent to distribute a class C drug and being a person under 21 in possession of intoxicating liquor, the log adds.

Brockton Man Arrested on a Warrant

At 3:37 a.m. Aug. 12, police responded to Upham Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle, according to a police log. Cleiton Dossantosalves, 18, of 29 Florence St. Apt. #2, Brockton, was arrested on a warrant, according to the log.

Melrose Man Arrested on Warrant

At 1:39 p.m. Aug. 12, police called to a West Emerson Street apartment on a report of an unwanted guest inside and to serve a warrant, according to a police log. Samuel Butts, 31, of 44 West Emerson St. Apt. #5, Melrose, was arrested on a warrant, according to the log.  

Aug. 12

9:30 a.m.: Police called to a minor accident in the area of Franklin and Greenwood Streets, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.

12:04 p.m.: Police responded to Adams Street for a report of fraud, according to a police log. 

4:19 p.m.: Police called to the Walgreens area on Main Street for a report of a two-car accident, according to a police log. No tows or transports logged.

7:53 p.m.: Police responded to Lincoln Street for a report of vehicle vandalism according to a police log. The caller told police that their rear window had been been smashed, according to the log.
